Also, can we please play more Maxey and less Ratliff?

I'll live with Garnett, Pierce, and even Allen making tough shots as long as we are playing as well as we possibly can on defense, which we did tonight.
Theo made some dumb decisions out there. I'm kinda wanting maxiell and amir out there . Also in a game about defense, hayes shouldnt be on the active roster.
Exactly.Quote:

The likelihood of Amir is a solid idea, but I doubt it unless Maxey sucks as well as Theo and we're down 10 or something and Sheed and Dyess are in foul trouble...
I'm worried about box outs, i think theo did better than maxiell at it, but still made dumb decisions.
yep. in reality you could say all that work had an effect on kg's 3 pointer at the end. Either way in a 7 game series it'll wear him down.
Yeah, SDB I see you deleted your post, but that move and bank finish by Garnett was incredible. Dyess played the best D he could.
Rasheed blocked KG, iirc. Got give RW some love for D on KG here and there.
SDB deleting posts? the shame!
sometimes I read the posts and don't think they make sense, so I delete them.
but yeah, Dice played him as well as he could on that shot.
Defensive rebounding is definitely a concern, despite the win. We let guys like Davis and Perkins get offensive rebounds that they had no business getting. Allen got a couple, too, when we had three guys standing around in the paint, but nobody bothered to put a body on him. That's frustrating to me. It got better in the second half, but we need to do better on the boards in general. I can live with KG getting boards, but not so much the aforementioned guys. That's not acceptable.
but overall its not idea for him to be on kg mostly. He just seems not to grind as hard against him. Dyess doesnt like kg personally and it shows in how he gets at him really really hard.Quote:

By the way, I'm pretty sure the analysts haven't watched many Pistons games this year. They were surprised we were isolating Stuck. There have been many times this year when we've iso'ed Stuck, most recently being the Orlando series. I would love to get paid to pretend to watch basketball like them.
Agree GG. Just spot D here and there, but he stepped up. And remember Sheed had 2 fouls early in 2nd??? He knows how to play with fouls.
And 1 T too.
So he joins the rest of us.Quote:

the guy on nba tv is about to burst a hot one talking about stuckey, almost called him a hall of famer. yikes!Quote:

and I don't mean that as a knock...there is no doubt in my mind that Rodney Stuckey will go down in history as the greatest player to ever play.
Just to shoot my load into the Stuckey circle jerk...
The thing that makes him so impressive to me is that he defied the stereotype of rookies and role players and got it done under pressure on the road. A rookie with that kind of mental toughness is going to have a great future.

Well I guess Chuck Norris's cover is blown.
Max Stuckey Pick and Roll , I await my millions of dollars to coach a professional team.
PS, Flip is still a moron, and we are lucky as shit to have pulled this game off. What was the hold up on calling time outs when we had matchup problems with our bench?
I gotta sleep.
Rodney Stuckey does not sleep, he waits.
Saw that. Who is that with him? Billy King. Whomever it is, settled him down a lil bit.Quote:

Maxiel only played 3 mins or something.
Pierce really bashed our bench low key, said no guy outside of stuckey did anything as if it were a fluke on stuckey's part. I know the bench plays better at home, i hope they dominate the celts.
Because he wasn't playing well.
If you say one negative thing about Flip Saunders tonight, you're an idiot. It needs to be said.

Yeah, glad Theo was out there to bring his box outs, defense, and intimidating offense to complicate Bostons foul trouble.
And with all my whining about the refs, finally a game where they called Bostons hacking. AN EVEN GAME of basketball, shitty refs for everyone.

What'd you think of the Stuckey, LH, Rip lineup?
I didn't think his shoes went well with his suit. :)Quote:

After the Stuckey explosion and the mandatory time out Ratliff was left in and directly contributed to losing four points of the lead. PJ Brown hits a baseline jumper with Ratliff spinning in a circle looking for his man (PJ Brown) then on offense Rip is stuck on the left side of the court with Ratliff and Theo can do nothing to help the guy out offensively while his man hedges off of him and doubles Rip. On the next Celtic possession I believe Ratliff commits a foul and Flip finally gets him off the court (but I'm haizy on this one). Ratliff did fine overall and Flip was good as well, but its not like it was a mistake free game.Quote:

A team can get exposed when they play a really good team.
