    Favorite book is another tough one. I guess Moveable Feast, by Hemingway. A close second would be Invisible Man by Ralph Elison.
    i actually spent a qtr on year in hs studying invisible man. kind of pisses me of that bukdow knows about that book.

    One of your degrees is in history, so I assume you're a history buff. What is your favorite period in history?

    My favorite era in American history would be The Civil War. It was America`s "puberty" and really set the course for what kind of country we were going to be.

    Other interesting eras would be the European Rennaisance, The Crusades (the more things change, the more they stay the same) and the concept of "Revolution" and why/how people react in such a manner (Cuban, the fall of Apartheid).

    I like reading about The Civil War too, even though I prefer learning about world history.
    Yes, America is a very young country and does not have the layers of history that the rest of the world does, but America`s history is intense. A lot has happened in a very little time.
