He would have been the perfect backup SF for us for when Tayshaun goes all vagasil. That said, Posey would be insane to leave Boston for Detroit considering the state of the 2 teams.

Which reminds me of something that pissed me off. Joe D pretty much ruled out going after a player with the full MLE, saying you're better off "Breaking it up". This gets on my nerves. How did we get our last good free agent bench player (Dice)? Full MLE. How did we get Chauncey? Full MLE. Handing out Partial MLEs gets you what we've had the last few years... Mo Evan, Flip Murray, Jarvis Hayes, etc. It's crap, and always seems to end up with a fringe rotation player that is constantly the "Weak link" in the chain. How about look for the best player available and go after them, not looking through the bargain bin of has beens and never weres.
